Scope of this notice
This policy covers this corporate website and correspondence sent to us through its contact details. It does not describe data processing by any software product. Any applicable product privacy information is provided separately.
When you visit the website
Cloudflare provides our website hosting and network security. Delivering the website involves processing technical information, including your IP address, information about your browser or device, and the requests made to the website.
We use this processing to deliver the website, maintain its availability and protect it against misuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure company website.
When you contact us
If you email or write to us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to include, together with any attachments. You do not have to provide this information, although we may be unable to respond without the relevant details.
We use correspondence to answer enquiries and manage business communications. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact the company. Please only include information relevant to your enquiry.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising, analytics, embedded social media or a contact form. Its own pages do not set cookies or use browser storage.
Cloudflare security features may use strictly necessary cookies if a security check is required. We do not use these for advertising or visitor profiling.
Service providers and transfers
Cloudflare processes technical information to provide hosting and security. Our email service provider is Google (Gmail). We may also disclose information where required by law.
Google and Cloudflare operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Their published transfer arrangements include the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers and standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can contact us for further information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
Further details are available in Google’s transfer information and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
How long information is kept
We delete ordinary enquiry correspondence 12 months after the last reply. Where correspondence is needed for an ongoing business relationship, a dispute or a legal obligation, we retain the relevant records for as long as that purpose requires and review them when the matter ends. Deleting email from our mailbox does not immediately remove all provider backups. Google applies its own deletion process. Cloudflare retains technical information according to the purposes for which it is processed, security needs and applicable legal requirements.
Google explains its deletion process in its data retention information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access your personal information, correct it, erase it or restrict its use. We may need information to confirm your identity before responding.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise this right or raise a privacy concern.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
